About

Uncle Buddy’s Pumps was named in honor of John “Uncle Buddy” Yee, a respected tribal member who lived on the very land where the fuel station now stands.

“This land assignment has been in the Yee name for over 110 years. My grandpa used this land to better himself and his family,” said Richard Yee, grandson of John Yee.

In its early days, the land was home to Uncle Buddy’s orchard and vineyard, where he sold grapes to Charles Krug Winery. His wife, Doris Loraine Yee, devoted herself to raising their children and grandchildren on this cherished family land.

Today, Uncle Buddy’s Pumps stands as a tribute to their legacy, blending the rich history of the Yee family with the tribe’s continued commitment to growth and community service.
